Sacramento's Premiere Blues Club
Torch club was one of the first bars in Sacramento established in 1934 the year prohibition ended In the past it was known as a watering hole for politicians and has become the most popular Blues Club in the Sacramento Area. Long-time fans appreciate the return of the house bands which included: The Lew Fratis Trio, Jimmy Pailer & the Prophets, Aaron King Trio, Stacie Eakes and the Superfreaks and Mind X. Newcomers will be attracted to the club by national acts including Terry Hanck, Janiva Magness, The Delgado Brothers, Shane Dwight, Volker Strifler, Mark Hummel, Mick Martin & the Blues Rockers, Daniel Castro Popa Chubby, Chris Cain, and so many more.
The dance floor is large and ready for dancing!
We are located at 904 15th Street (between I and J streets). Across the street from the Memorial Auditorium.
We feature the hottest blues bands from Sacramento, the Bay Area and national acts!

The twenty-something Texas sensation is not just another cat-in-a-hat with a Strat. He has crafted his blues roots into a funk-a-fied recipe all his own.
November 20th Nathan James & Ben Hernandez On Make a Change Sometime, the first official duo album by Nathan James & Ben Hernandez, these two young & talented artists bring forward a fresh and knowledgeable showcase of an American roots music known as country blues.
November 21st Aaron King & the Imperials Aaron is a guitar virtuoso and already a local legend. Playing with Sacramento luminaries such as the Chrome Addicts, Johnny Heartsman, Omar Sharriff and Little Charlie & the Nightcats, as well as his own band the Imperials, King is renowned as an accomplished guitarist in the style of B.B. King.
November 22nd Mike Schermer - Live Recording Bay Area Guitarist-Vocalist, Mike Schermer is on top of a wave of energetic young bluesmen all dedicated to this classic American art form. Over the past 20 years, he has compiled a list of performance credits that read like a veritable who is who and what is what in the Bay Area, National, and International music arenas.

November 28th John Nemeth The show stealer was a vocalist with as many octaves as humanly possible or so it seemed. Either John Nemeth is one of the greatest vocalists in the world or this was the best performance of his life, or both. Write down his name, you will hear about him for many years to come.
November 29th Jackie Payne & Steve Edmondson Put on your dancing shoes and get ready for an amazing trip. The two San Francisco Bay musicians partnered up here and from seemingly out of nowhere they put down one of the hottest soul sounds in years. Their friendship and love for the music comes through in every note. These guys have serious fun performing
